4.4 DSC throttle limiting

Hi guys, I have 2001 4.4l auto.

Is there any way to stop the throttle limiting?

I have tried pressing the DSC button once and also holding it down until the light on the dash goes off all together, but it still cuts the throttle when it loses traction. I know the X5 isn't a go anywhere 4wd but surely I should be able to leave the bitumen without getting stuck in the first bit of sand?

Any help would be great.

Thanks

Joel
