Yea, I've seen his X5 in Roundel Oktoberfest article.

I've done driven on a ~25 second autocross course too, albeit not competitively so my times were nowhere fast. It can be done, but I think it is the equivalent to driving a boat on the course. Nevertheless, my 17" all-season OEM MXV4's don't give any notion of squeal when it breaks loose and its mile-high sidewall numbed the feeling of the road.

pirelli ice and snow here. they make a huge difference one the temps are near freezing. night and day between all seasons.

HA! I used to run a 89 camaro in F-stock and played around with various vettes before graduating to road racing.

Pirelli ice and snow on order. Looking forward to trying them out. Now to look for some summer rims...any suggestions??

yeah, summer oem rims are super cheap on craigslist.com. look often and be patient. past set I got had 50% oem Michelin rubber on them for $200. yeah, $200 for all four!!

i think $400-500 should be reasonable. all season tires are fine for your daily commute when your winters are stored.
