Need Help Replaced Battery battery light still on

Hi all,

I need some help. My battery light came on driving to work yesterday and before I could make it home the battery quit. Lights came on the whole thing. Got a ride to Batteries Plus and relaced with a Ray o Vac they said was the replacement. The X started and all the lights cleared except the battery light. I drove around this morning but the battery light is still on. I have looked for other threads but nothing comes up. Where do I go from hear. I'll check the alt output in the morning. All ideas appriciated.
