knocking / ticking noise
Hi

Just noticed a noise on cold start of my 3.0D UK 2006 model 95,000 miles.

It seems to be coming from the bottom left side of engine bay (If sitting in X5). Its not a loud noise more of a whoosh with a tick. It happens immediately on cold start up and if you sit on idle and slowly rev up it quickens and then disapears. Once the X5 is warm you cannot hear it.

Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks.
