'06 4.8is suspension
My 4.8is started sagging at the front driver side after sitting over night, every night. It would correct itself after opening the door so I let it go for a few weeks. Finally last week after leaving the office many co-workers were making fun since it looked like a low rider. When I opened the door this time I heard a constant hissing for the bag trying to hold air.
I brought it to my dealer, Rasmussen BMW, in Portland and thought it was going to cost a couple grand. I forgot I had a CPO and was pleasantly surprised when I was told both front airbags were replaced under warranty and would only cost me $50. I can live with that! Now how often do I need to concern myself with having to replace these bags? My 4.8is has 57k miles and that doesn't seem like I got a lot of life out of the original bags. Thanks in advance. David
