I just fixed this yesterday. I actually took this piece off at the dealership.....meaning when I was going back to the car after purchasing the new piece, I decided to "take a look at it" and ended up peeling out the entire piece in 2 seconds. I kinda sorta peeled it "back" after seeing how the new piece is designed. There is a metal strip thats built into the rubber which "grabs" the windshield EDGE. So you dont want to pull UP as you might crack the windshield edge.....you want to pull BACK AND AWAY.....kind of like pulling towards the back of the car once you get one edge to loosen up.
