Its a long shot but try to give it a little hit with your hand after you press the eject button.

Gave that ago but to no avail. Any more ideas? It seems to me as there is no power to it. The message on the unit is 'no disc'

I saw a tech remove a stuck cartridge by using a credit card. Just push the card under the lower edge of the cartridge on the left (or was it right) side. It should pop out. See if that will do it.

I have had the same problem. when i used to press the eject button i could hear things moving but the cartridge would not come out. i just left it for a while and eventually it decided to pop out.
it normally plays the tracks on cd 1 then when you try to go to 2 it comes up with no disc.
I would like to know how to sort it out myself but hav'nt worked out what the problem is yet.

Ive had no joy with this and the cartridge still seems stuck. To be honest when i press the green eject button I cant hear anything at all so not sure if the unit is actually getting any power. I have removed the unit and was wondering how to test to see if the unit is being powered as it might not be a stuck cartridge but a power problem

Thanks in advance

I haven't looked yet, but most cartridge type electrical devices have a small hole you can push something into (like paperclip) to manually eject in the event of a power loss.
