Replace my window regulator
The passenger side front window regulator finally died, I had the other 3 replaced while the car was under warranty. After getting a quote from the dealer for $630, I decided to order the part my self and give it a shot.. In total it took me about 2.5 hours thanks to the great write up on the main page. The cost for a new regulator and door foam was about $200. Best $430 I have ever saved.
Thanks to all of you for making this a great site for DIY |

just replaced the 2 black plastic clips at $3.50 each that go thru the wholes in the glass. the regulator was fine. took about 1.5 hours total to fix, and saved me hundreds in repair bills over what they quoted to replace the whole window reg (which it didnt't need).
