'06 4.4 shaking on startup

Hey All,

My '06 4.4 is shaking on startup. So far it's happened twice when it's cold out and the second time the "Check Engine" light came on. After reving the engine a bit the shaking goes away and the X runs smoth (check engine light stays on). I ended up dropping it off at the shop anyways for them to take a look at it.

Any ideas what I should expect from the shop?

Check the CCV hoses. The usually get soft and could have cracks.

I had same problem. It was intermediate levers.

Lots of different reasons why this could be.

biggest problem is they get soft and fall apart. The also have oil that goes through them and if there is moisture in the oil from short trips in the winter they can freeze.
