Air Suspention

Hello guys,

I have 00X5 with air suspention. I changed rear air bags a couple of months ago, so they are pretty fresh. however at night, when cars been sitting overnight, the rear side drops all the down. when i open the car they both rise again... no error messages. is this normal?

Weasel will become famous soon enough
Not normal, it has a leak somewhere.... and if the bags are new it is likely something else. Does only one side drop or does it drop evenly?

I had the same problem but in my case, only one rear side dropped overnight. My indie shop replaced the air bag with a brand new one but after observation a few days it still dropped on the same side. We checked the air hoses ,compressor, and module but everything was working fine. After 3 months , my indie shop conducted a leak test on the newly replaced air bag and they found out it was a defective part. Part was replaced again . Case solved. HTH....

Use soapy water and check the red and blue lines going to each expansion tank. Find out what's wrong and pm me. I have a couple Brand new lines that I never used.

both of them drop evenly, and then they rise evenly. but before i changed the right side(before it blew) none of them dropped and Inact. message due to sensor being upside down. now no error messages. I will have it checked ASAP, thanks guys.
