Remote control for auxiliary heater
Ive just joined and need a little help with with my auxiliary heater remote control. I have a 2006 X5 3.0d and can programme the car to warm up manually but I also have the fob but I have never been able to get it to work, the manual tells me to hold the button down for 2 secs to turn it on (should keep flashing for 30mins or so) but will only flash for around 5 seconds. Now the snow has started to hit the UK getting this thing to work would be great!!!! If any one could help.................. Ben |

Hi Ben,
had one - not in a BMW - but it was operating as you said. Holding down the left button made it blink for 30 mins and made the car heat for 30 mins. Nothing special to do. If that doesn't work I would ask Bosch or BMW. Take care, H |
