New e53 owner checking in

Just wanted to say hey! Wife and I picked up a 2003 4.6is with about 100k on the clock a few days ago. Blk ext with black/check alcantera int. We are a pretty huge BMW family although sometimes I think the lady won't admit it. This is the newest BMW I have owned (unless you count the new MINIs). In our current BMW stable we have a 1989 M3 and a 1991 318is. I have owned about 8 e30s and an e46 and the wife once daily'd a grey market e23 745i turbo. Looking forward to participating in this community although in general I'll tend to lurk more than post.

One thing I noticed and have yet to see other than in our e53...does anyone else have the mtech steering wheel? Smallish diameter with the ///M color stitching and one piece bottom/mid spoke with ///M emblem. When we were searching I never came across another example with it.

I will get pics up as soon as I can, holidays putting a crunch on my car time.

A few pics i was able to take today.
