Caddy vs my X5

I rented a caddy svx last week while on vacation. I expected it to do some things my 02 X5 4.4 couldn't. What I found is that the caddy isn't a replacement vehicle for our X's. I was totally disappointed. 1st off it has nowhere near the power. I had to brake hard a couple times and felt like I was in an old chrysler. It steers light like a honda. Doesn't feel stable on the asphalt. The computer was a pain in the ass to use. The gps kept taking me to dead end roads and saying places were on the right when they were on the left. At one point exiting Disney, it had me take a u-turn then another u-turn, then another u-turn. I kept doing it to see how many it would have me take, until my wife and kids had had enough going in circles. The only thing it had that my X doesn't is auto start (which I want).
I guess every so often it is good to drive something else to make us appreciate our bimmers.
