I have Hankook Ventus A/S on my non-sport 4.4L 2002. Tread wear is down to about 25% life and they are VERY loud. Just had an alignment done, so everything is within spec.

Wife has a set of Latitude HP tires on her 2009 Dodge Journey R/T AWD and has been very happy so far. We got hammered with snow this winter (3-4 feet on average) and these tires did extremely well for a all season. I'm use to running studless ice tires on my vehicles so I was surprised at the ability of the Michelin's. Seem to have really good tread wear too. They are not cheap though.

I'm looking to replace my Ventus AS tires with either the Michelin Latitude HP or the Conti DWS.

Not to hijact the thread, but how many miles did you get from the Ventus?

TireRack recommends the following as alternatives:
Kumho Ecsta STX KL12 (Street/Sport Truck All-Season) - $850
Hankook Ventus AS RH07 (Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season) - $886
Kumho Solus KL21 (Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season) - $962
Michelin Latitude Tour HP (Crossover/SUV Touring All-Season) - $1238

anyone have experience with these? I'm not pleased with the prospect of having to bolt a Korean tire on to my X.
That sucks. I have Pirelli Assimmetrico's and I absolutely love them. Was hoping to get another set when my tires eventeually wear out. Bought them from Mavis Tire.

I like the Conti cross contact or if you want to spend a little less the hankook ventus is a good tire. quiet and pretty good in snow

Tires

I currently enjoy the Bridgestone Turanza and found it to be much quitter than Damaris.

Hankook came out with staggered tires for these cars, and I have loved every set of Hankooks I've owned for the last 10 years.
