2005 4.4i NAV question

Everytime I start my car up, i have to manually agree not to look at the nav while driving - a nuisance. Is there anyway to *hack* the NAV and turn this off?

Similar question with the seatbelt "binging" - can this be turned off? My laptop bag full of books on the seat next to me will set it off. I always wear a seatbelt when i drive, so its not a safety issues, just a nuisance.

Thanks!

Newer versions of the OS will take you directly to the navigation map screen after a short splash screen with the legal disclaimers - no action required on your part.

If you go over to the Navigation forum you will find links to download the latest OS and instructions on how to upload it to your nav drive.
