How to disconnect battery when lpg tank fitted???

Hi guys.

Is there an other way to disconect battery as i have an LPG tank fitted where the spare wheel is and i believe the battery is under this.

I have to remove my door card so i can fix my door handle and i believe i have to disconnect the negative terminal so i can remove the air bag which is in the door.

If i disconnect the negative then i think this will stop an error being thrown up on my dash after the air bag has been removed. Is this correct?

This is turning into a bit of a missioni think.

You'll need to remove the lpg tank and maybe think about relocating the battery....

thank you m8.

i was hoping that wasnt the case.

I have just had a thought though. I have self leveling suspension and the guy from the garage said the compressor should be under the spare wheel. It is actually in the compartment in the right side of the boot. I am confused now where is my battery located :O)

This is how it looked originally:

The round black dome is the suspension pump. You will have to remove it, and under it you will see the battery.

on the left of picture 2 red cables below a black cable . black cable connected to body is the battery ground cable .. if you can disconnect the black cable from there that will disconnect the entire electrical system for you . tried and proven method .

If you are replacing a door carrier, see here...

It may not be necessary to disconnect the battery. I just replaced my driver side carrier and while the airbag needed to be unbolted from the door, it did not need to be disconnected. However if it makes you more comfortable having the battery disconnected, use the remote terminals under the hood.

Do you know where the remote terminals are under the hood to disconect the battery?

The +ve terminal is at the back right of the engine bay inside a black protective cover. It's used for jump starting the car. Not certain that it will completely diconnect the battery if you remove the red cables though. There is no remote -ve connection. -ve end in the trunk is the only way to guarantee no power on the vehicle.
