Hi wide, I did not, I just hooked it up, ran DIS on it, came clean, an after driving the car for a while the failsafe came back on, but I could still drive the car, something it wasn't doing with the older EGS tranny computer. now, when I run DIS, and the 0F error comes up, I can not seem to find info about it. is the help somewhere in the software of DIS that I am overlooking?
Thanks again,
M.

Yes, for each error stored and found, DIS will suggest various test plans to be conducted in an attempt to fix or at least further diagnose the problem.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
I would of course start with the test plan provided with that fault code, it helps test the system and usually provides usable results.

If the test plan doesn't help it is a matter of figuring out it the cause is in the valve body/solenoids, internal harness of transmission, other tranny parts, etc. This may end up being one of those cases where you end up spending less by getting professional diagnosis before throwing expensive parts at it.
