All OEM BWM parts, but I did the install of the VR/Voice Control module myself, bought module on eBay, after purchase of X5 - relatively easy to do a pro install!

And I still can't get my BT module to "read" my iPhone4. Voice dialing is fine, BT synch is fine. But my nav screen has jibberish mixed wth letters and numbers, and the BT module will not recognize and display the number of incoming calls. Dealer said there have been a lot of complaints from owners of '05 and earlier X5's for the same problem, so must be all the earlier versions of the module. Just one more reason I hate my iPhone4 and am seriously considering going back to a BlackBerry.

Interestimg, Tow... I have no prob when using VR, Voice Dialing, and BT - All incoming and VR numbers from and when using my iPhone 4 display just fine/accurately... - I have an '05, so maybe this problem doesn't occur in modules after '04 and I just lucked out...

Hi,

I have a phone installed in my car (not the bluetooth version, but the real handset type of phone).

Does anyone know, if I can add the bluetooth / voice recognition in addition to the existing phone?

Thanks,
CH
