Lots of speed traps, especially in Utah (sneaky speed traps -- well thought out). I didn't get a ticket, but plenty of other people did.

State budgets are in the dumper and they need revenue so put your Valentine 1 up and be on the lookout. 7 to 9 mph over would be the max safe speed to avoid a ticket on the open interstate. Any faster than that you need to be very vigilant and have a flyer in front to draw out the radar guns. Construction zones have low speed tolerance if any b/c they have double fines.

BTW: you PM box is full...
That's awesome info, Thanks. The Owner and my boss of Alberta Tactical Rifle, also has a much new X5 4.8L and between the 2 of us, I'm not sure who has a heavier foot. I'll pass on the warning. Do they use strickly KA band radar guns or do they set up with lazer also?
I also cleared my PM inbox. Thanks for the heads up on that also.

That's all the restricted stuff we can only go the range with. My sniper rifles are just getting rebarreled and painted and when we head to our long range testing site, there won't be a lot of extra room to move inside once again. LOL

Naw, even better... set it up on the roof facing back with you standing out of the sunroof in position behind it. Like an E53 secret service vehicle! (and maybe a bumper sticker saying "For your safety, stay at least 2000 yards behind vehicle")

Great Idea!!! It weren't for that gun wieghting so much, I'd definitely try that. He also has a heli-mountable 50BMG that is smaller so we'll see how creative we can get. I might have to fab up a crossrail with a mid-point mount for the roof rack just for kicks. LOL The Browning 50 would make a nice 10G accessory for my X5.

I just had to wipe the drool off my computer desk!!!! Nothing like the Ma Deuce. I will never forget shooting that 50 cal on top of my Abrams Tank. The main 120mm kind of dwarfed it; but adrenaline rush none the same!!!!!!!! God I miss that...
