4.6is stock exhaust sound

wondering if all 4.6is' sound like this? it's a stock exhaust 98k miles, warmed up. Ambient temp about 30deg F. is it supposed to sound that raspy/clacky/sputtery?

yeah, i'm going to go back out with my wife later today and listen for myself. I didn't think my camera had sound recording problems but maybe the levels are throwing it off or something. I just heard it and put it up without having someone rev with me outside. if i leave the doors open and rev from the drivers seat i don't hear any of the odd sounds. I'll update later.

yup, i took a video of mine cold and it sounds like yours too. but the video i started this thread with was with the engine warm (redline indicator fully warm) and about 15 minutes of driving.

well. looks like my camera's audio recording quality ain't that good. i dunno how it could turn such a sweet sound into that crap in the video :-/ anyway, the X sounds fine and actually so do the rest of the recordings out of my camera. maybe it really was some of the frequencies that it would just clip on. who knows, but at least for now she sounds and drives great.

I don't think I've ever heard my X from the back as I'm always driving I love the sounds I hear from the driver's seat though! I see we've got a few X's in the ATL area. I'm down in Macon. Anybody want to get together for a mini-meet sometime?

I think mine kinda sounded like that stock. Now it's a wee bit nutty.
