Magnaflow Cat converter
Firstly, my 4.4i may need a or more new cat converters. I have sourced a price for OEM cats, and my god! Anyway, an exhaust place here says to just put on Magnaflow cats saying that they won't last as long but is a much cheaper alternative. (I have an exhaust emissions warning light on at present) A few questions. Will these diminish any power/torque? And will any warning light come on as they are not OEM cats? I know with the Holden Commodores we have over here, aftermarket cats cause that issue. Also, what is the go with the cat restrictions in California? I started looking for cats online and noticed that there are some not for sale in Cali? I'd be interested to see what Australia lines up against, the Cali or US standards. Thanks guys. Check this out. Never purchased but looks like a viable alternative. The Official Site of MagnaFlow Catalytic Converters by Car Sound

Hey at least you have a choice with going with aftermarket on the 4.4. The 3.0 has the cats mounted to the manifold, so you have to replace everything when they go. Second-most expensive repair I did with tranny being first.
