help: how do you add resistors to LED license plate bulb?

hi guys
just bought a pair ofLED license plate bulbs, but they give error codes..
and i have searched the forum if you add a resistor it will get rid of the codes.
the question is how do you add the resistors to the bulbs?
any help please?

I would rather disable the warning via NCS.

disable the warning like chas3 says or you will be draining your battery with the resistors. i wouldnt even install them if I were you

Set the following to nich_aktiv:

KALTUEBERWACHUNG_KZL
nich_aktiv

and

WARMUEBERWACHUNG_KZL
nich_aktiv

I don't understand. I'm a noooob when it comes to this. How do I stop the error from coming up on the dash? I have an '06 4.8is

I was talking about the FSW/PSW file you get when reading the LCM module with the NCS Expert tool. If you are not familiar with the EDIABAS suite, it would be easier to look for somebody that does coding in your area and ask them to do it for you.

Basically, it just disables the monitoring of the license plate bulbs. So even if the LEDs don't pass the check, there will be no warning for them.
