My first was a 1969 F250 with 360ci FE series big block, C6 trans and dana 60 rear end w/410 gears. 3/4 ton truck, standard cab w/8' bed. Guess my parents figured If I was ever going to wreck my first vehicle I should be able to drive away with a scratch and screw the other guy!
Oh yeah, and thanks to the 4 wheel drum brakes literally coming apart (friction material came loose from shoes while driving!) I did wreck it... and I had little damage to the bumper cosmetically while the car I hit got totaled and rolled between two other cars causing major body damage to them both! (she got a shiny new chrome bumper and all new brakes after that one!

1974 VW Super Beetle. It had a rusted out floor, sticky accelerator pedal and pumped exhaust gas into the car via the rusted out heat pipes. But it was a manual and I learned to row the gears on it, I loved that car. It was a gift from my uncle in 1982 when I got my license.

Mine was a 1961 MGA...It was my Dad's first car. He gave it to me as an early high school graduation gift when I was a junior since he was going to be on a 1.5yr deployment for the Navy.
Wish I still had the car now. It was totaled after a very large Pontiac hit me on the left and forced the front of the car into the asphault about 2 inches deep and 2 ft long....sending me and a bud to the hospital. It was definitely a beautiful car! It was replaced by a Triumph TR250; an odd car but fun!
