Toyo STII's Rock

I mounted a set on my wife's 04 4.8is today and they rock. Quiet, well handling and did great in the snow.

I got them for 858 SHIPPED.

Need a set for my e70!

Toyo ST II's SUCK in SNOW

I have a set on my 04 4.8is and until we got snow here in Chicago they were fine. I put them on in october and driving was a little hard but I chalked it up to stiff suspension. Road noise is also louder than I expected. Well last week we got about 5 inchs of snow and things changed, if you attemp to drive on roads like expressways at higher the 35-40 you are shimying all over. If you try to change lanes while going 35-40 you break free and the rear end wants to do its own thing. These tires are NOT All season unless, your fourth season (winter) is in warmer states and you have no snow. They are fine in the winter for driving in town at less the 35, once you get on snow or icy roads all bets are off. For the money, pass on these and get a set of Continental DWS's or Michellan's. These were a waste of money unless you run a summer and winter setup.

I'll be selling these if anyone is interested!!! PM me.

Wait until you put 5000 miles on it. Loudest tire ever. Even worse than the Michellin diamaris!!.

Funny how I read in several posts how good they were AND they get great reviews.

I have these on my 01' 4.4 and in the first 1-8k they were quiet but now at 20k and with decent tread they are loud and rough. Its a bummer but I'm thinking 4.6is 20's for summer and dedicated winter tires for my 18's.

I've got the STII's on my 4.6is and love them. I've put about 6,000 miles on them since purchase. They're incredibly smooth and quiet. Plus, at $790 shipped for all four you can't beat the price. I haven't experienced them in snow and probably never will, so that's not an issue.
