Sports are a little stiffer, hold in different places and some people don't like that added thigh supporter.

I agree all the way with m5. I have tan sports seats I just wish I would have held out for comfort seats or did more test driving. Lesson learned.
my teen driver hates the thigh support, wife says its too stiff. I can never get that lumbar right where I need it.

not sure if i have comfort seats on my 4.6 but i have 85k on them and they are black, we go to philly often so we could meet up. my seats do not have the thigh support thing.

What you are describing is what I'm remembering comfort seats to be. The articulated backrest was particularily nice. However, I am one who likes the bolstering and the thigh support of the sport seats even more.

there's a ebay seller out there in the desert. Hes had a pair of black comfort seats for auction for 2 years straight.. he wants 1,600 for em. I looked at them many times and wondered how a tan interior, carpet and all would look like with black seats...
