As for 'advising' people based on what you have read, and not based on your personal experience with the car, well, you have no right to do that as it is only other peoples stories . By all means, hit wikipedia or go through other peoples' posts and put down your own misguided, uninformed interpretation of their (already-diluted-down for the sake of writing a book on it) account, it doesn't mean anything-certainly not to me.

As for seeing that most of my posts are asking for advice and some are giving people advice on REAL-WORLD experience (read:not cyber-world scrawls), that is why we are here! To help eachother. What I know I happily pass on. What I dont know I hope to gain that from someone that does.

To say you 'definitely'-(who are you again, and what are your technical/mechanical credentials exactly?) don't recommend something based on what you have read and not what you have personally experienced, along with little to no technical/mechanical knowledge is shameful. Two bollocks-filled scrawls in two posts I have seen of yours so far. Top notch my friend, keep up the good work! End of.
You are so thick ..you dont even realize when you are being humoured or taken the pi** of,do you.!All my posts are from my own experience, including the jumpstarting!
Yes,Bmw do say you can jumpstart from terminals.Yes,majority here have done this with no problems, but quite a few here (use the search button)have also had issues and MOST IMPORTANT,in the "place" where I been working for 15 years ,I have seen a few Bmws/X5s,come in with problems after jumpstarting.

Dont worry ,mate,I only spent a a few minutes ,looking back at your posts! There arent many of them! What little there is ,its all asking for information,no contribution! From what I see ,you only here for your own benefit and to make personal attacks on others.Well done mate ,you are a star. You win the "ars*hol* of the month" award.
You can reply with more BS if you you like....I am not wasting more time with you.

Hmmm, someone with a severe chip on their shoulder it would appear. Dont worry sunshine, you'll move up from beverage technician soon enough, perhaps in another 15 years..

Personal attacks? Not at all old chap, I just know BS when I see it, particularly when its not backed up by anything.

Looking back at my posts (oh dear, how sad) and seeing that I'm here for my own benefit? Wrong again. I think that chip on your shoulder seems to be blinding you somewhat.

Never mind.

Ps, I'm not going to behave like the obvious child that you are and put a silly 'loser' icon up. Get a life for f*cks sake you sad individual.
