They're 55W 6000k's that I got from EAS who had great customer service and very friendly workers. I highly recommend, and it shaved a few years off my old and busty X5.

Thoughts on the temperature of the Angel Eye rings? I'm thinking they're a tad too blue for my taste.

55w is a substantial brightness on the road.
Normal HID kids are only 35w.
PLEASE make sure they are aimed properly, to avoid pis$ing off other traffic.

one more thing, to anyone one out there who is looking to install projector headlamps in their ride, and throw an HID kit in, please be aware that the light output on the HID/Projector set up will probably be bright, but may NOT be a clean beam cut off that usinga hallogen bulb would produce.

Not trying to preach, but most of the projector headlamps out there are designed for a halogen bulb to be used.

the difference in length of the tube and the length of the bulb can create a different light output.

most cheaper headlamp housings will have a stamp on them saying "use only halogen bulbs" or "do not use Xenon bulbs"... its not cause Xenon bulbs create a lot of heat (less in fact) but because the distance from where the light is emmitted from a bulb and where the light is emmitted from a Xenon tube is different and therefore plays with the focal distance to the back of the glass ball/beam cut off pattern and therfore light output could look fuzzy.

having said this, I tried using an HID kit on my jeeps aftermarket projector headlamp and they produce a very clean/bright light output, yet the housing states "do not use xenon bulbs"
So its kinda of like trial and error.

My total was a blow to the balls given I had to ship them to Kuwait. It cost me a third of the total price of the headlights themselves.

They are a HUGE improvement from my old headlights, they couldn't light up 5 meters ahead of me!

They're pretty well aimed, but I'm pretty sure low coupes will hate me still.

The headlights look superb but there are a few issues.

The Angel Eyes seem to flicker for a few seconds when I first put the key into ignition which's kind of embarrassing, it looks either like a glitch or a cheap kids' toy upon start up.

I e-mailed EAS but the customer service seems to be superb pre-purchase and non-existant post-purchase.

Another thing is there are certain combinations of ways to start your headlights without having error signals on your screen. Auto always gives you error signals, and if you drive then turn them on it gives you error signals as well. You have to start with the second lights(just angel eyes) then turn on the xenons a few seconds later to have it work error signal free.

I had them installed by professionals given I'm not car savvy so I'm sure it's not an installation problem.

Also, the headlight set-up that comes to you will be missing cables that connect the xenon bulb to the xenon kit/generator/whatever it's called. So you'll have to purchase those.
