The $210 headlight setup is for a different application. There is a user called Gixxerboy (not sure of the exact username) on here that has these lights but bought them from another eBay seller for less (his prices are ~$150+$45 shipping). These lights aren't made for OEM xenons as they do not include the autoleveling motors and have H7 light sockets for the low beam. Also, the CCFL halos don't perform as well as LED halos in cold weather applications but do have the advantage of a continuous line of light. While cheaper than Depos, they are still very high quality.

Depos do include autoleveling motors and D2S headlight sockets for OEM xenons. They are good quality and have been proven in many BMW applications outside of the E53 world. This would be the hassle free way of upgrading your lights since you won't need to swap headlight housings due to it being a plug 'n play option.

I have not seen light cut-off picture of either headlights, but I don't assume that they're are too bad. Both of these lights are aftermarket and won't be as perfect as OEM (Hellas?) lights.

Again, you will need to talk to Gixxerboy. He is using the cheaper headlights but with a OEM projector swap and autoleveling motor swap. I don't know how tedious the procedure will be but it will take some DIY time. In the end, it will be more cost efficient and you still retain the OEM xenon quality.

Buying the headlights as-is will be 100% plug-and-play with the Depos. You'll have to get a H7 HID kit for the cheaper headlight option to work; maybe a light swap is all that is needed since you have the OEM ballasts, but I do not know enough in that field and you still lose autoleveling.

Yea I sent him a pm and someone else sent me a pm saying they can do it if I send them the head lights. I dunno about that I don't think I could part with them lol I might give the baking a go first though.

Just my .02, but if I were you I would stay away from those Ebay Depo HID's, I recommend you find a used set of true Oem Xenon or save some more and get them from the Bmw dealer. Those "HID's" they sell are not very good and the projectors are very poorly manufactured causin more glare and shooting light everywhere.
I recommend you do some reading in HID Planet.....lots of good info there.

I've seen posts where guys switched Lens and Self leveling motors on theese.
Difference is quality I would say. But if you switch those from your OEM. All should be good. however I don't know so much about bulb fittment.

Only isssue is, the BMW dealer will not sell a facelifted design for pre-facelifeted vehicles.
I adore the new cleaner looking headlamps, personally and will be doing this upgrade too with Depos
