![]() Im new to the forum I own an E53(01 X5 - 4.4L) with some problems that i have been chippiing away at I have a rear suspension error on dash - the suspension stays level for about a week and ever so slowly leaks down - I bypassed the solinoides and installed a manual switch for up and down - works great Now i would like to know-- How to eliminate the self leveling suspension message in check control? -has any one had experience in this ? - or pictures with wire jump? / grounding? Thanks in advancce Mike ![]()

Mine is a little different, but similar-
I removed my rear air suspension and had coil springs installed. This causes the check control error message. I had a dealership in Chicagoland remove the error message by "retrofitting out air suspension". I don't know if this would apply to yours or not.

i was thinking if the suspension cause more issues ( bag failure) that i woulds replace with coil springs as well - so far so good in that dept ![]() I wonder if the control unit ( suspension computer) by battery would be able to fix message if wire jumped?.
