My X5 Dinan
My wife and I were in an accident 3 weeks ago. We were hit by a drunk driver and our ML320 flipped on it's side. We suffered many bruises, but we survived and that's the main thing......So we recently got compensated by the insurance for our written off Mercedes and we decided to buy a 2002 X5 with a full Dinan spoiler pkg. & Dinan performance mods (cold air intake, strut bar, Dinan exhaust, power chip etc.......) Here's a picture of my truck (not the best shot). I'll post better pics soon. So far the truck's been good to us....................(cross my fingers....lol)

Gotta love how those ML's hold up in a crash. My last SUV was a 2001 ML 55 AMG. I got rear ended, from a cop of all people, on I-95 with me doing about 75 and him doing about 100mph. His cruiser (Ford Crown-Vic) was totaled and the ML only needed a new rear bumper.
Now I understand basic physics, my car absorbed the impact by being pushed forward, his did not, but still, for one vehicle to be totaled, and the other to need $1,800 worth of repair, thats a big spread. Mercedes uses some strong steel in their cars. Having said that, I love my new (to me) 2006 X5 4.4i. Its got great power (not as much as the AMG) and the build quality is just far better than the ML. In the ML anything/everything plastic always broke. The BMW does not seem to have these issues. Nothing rattles, no cup holders to break, overall a much better driving SUV. Enjoy!

Good to hear you and your wife are ok...after all it is the only thing that matters
U should enjoy the X more when it comes to driving ... anything else is left much to opinions. Waiting for more pics

I got the same color as your bmw less the dinan stuff :-( Are you missing center caps it looks like there are no center caps?? The BMW is a tank, my wife rear ended a ford fusion and cops came and they inspected her front end and not a scratch so she didnt even get a ticket! The fusion needed a whole new bumper it was totalled.

Nice X! Great color... Maybe IndianopolisX5 doesn't care for the aero kit, but it makes your X5 much more special and rare. I think it rocks! (Wishing I had Aero on mine!)
