Sagging Driver's Side Window

I've noticed that my 04 X5 3.0 has been allowing more road noise than usual. I think it's from my driver's side window sagging a little. The window goes to the top, but then sags ever so slightly (1/16th of an inch). It's not allowing any air or water in, but it must be open enough to let in the road noise.

I've searched the forums and think that it might be the window regulator or the clips. I did the test where you take the window to half and then pull up on it. I can get it to move a little, but not 3/4 of an inch that was talked about in the test.

My question is how to tell that it's just the clips and not the whole regulator assembly. Can just the clips solve the problem that I have or do I have to replace the regulator? Will the dealer just replace the clips or are they going to charge me for a regulator? Thanks.
