Wiring connector into tail light assembly...help
I'm having the typical tail light issue and just went to remove them to do the solder fix when I noticed that the plug for the wiring that goes into the tail light housing between the bulb sockets is all corroded in one spot. One of the sections looks to be a little melted too. I think this explains why I'm not only having the intermittent brake light warning but my signal on that rear side doesn't always work and it alternates faster than it should. Also when my driver side brake light is working it is considerably dimmer than my passenger side...back connection due to this corrosion.
I figured that I could take the wires out of the connector that slides into the assembly but I can't find that part number anywhere for the life of me. Is it a wiring set that I need to replace or can I take those wires out and just get a new connector. Any help would be much apprecitated.
Thanks
