Installation options for the 9500ci

I changed jobs about 6 months ago requiring I spend much more time on the highway and I've nearly been busted now a half dozen times. We're a mix of radar and laser (or so it would seem from watching the spotters) here in St. Louis so I've decided on the 9500ci. Yes, I know the V1 has a very loyal following and but for my usage requirements the 9500ci is the better fit for me.

That being said, have any of you had a particular success with the mount points for the various parts? I'm thinking of putting the display module in the blank space between the seat warmer buttons... I don't have PDC which means I've got a decent blank space between I think incline descent and the passenger seat warmer. I think I can pop that panel out, remove the current buttons and flip it over so that the blank space is to the left side and mount it there. Basically shifting the blank space closer to me rather than the passenger Then when it's time to upgrade the X I can just replace that button panel and the new owner won't have a hole. I've not yet measured to see if it'll actually fit recessed there or not. And then there's the mounting of the detection and jamming modules. Just curious for feedback if any of you have undertaken this.

If you've been hit with laser, then get the interceptor as well.

From what I've read it's the best at laser detection but I'm not excited about the prospect of buying that as an add on.
