Great mod olt! I have the exact same problem as you! (nearly) I read the backing tutorial, so I dismantled the headlights and went to stick them in the oven.. HAHA Norwegian ovens are not for backing x5 headlights. Could n´t make the damn thing fit! So i took it to my parents house, same problem. So i when´t at it with the heater-gun for ages, but the damn thing just wont open.
Been thinking about buying depo angel eyes, but i don't like the angel eye rings in them. The gaps between the leds or whatever they are. like the ccfl type where there is a whole cathode. Any ways i think this will be my project for tomorrow seeing your result.. Looks great! Good Job! Anyone have closeup pictures of the oem headlights without the waffles and the orange thing on the side!! |
