Wiper Blade Problem - Need help - 2001 4.4

I've read through several posts now and haen't seen a problem similar to mine. Overall, the blades work fine, however, for the last 3 weeks or so, the blades come to rest about 3 inches higher than they should. They go through their cycle, down to where they should be, then raise up 3" before they come to rest. Any ideas?

Usually the bolts that hold the wiper blade motor are loose and may be causing this. I would recommend you inspect the wiper blade motor and see if the bolts are still there. Use realoem.com to find location. It's on the driver side under some plastic thing.
