OIL leek

My 2006 3.0i x5 went in for its yearly mot test yesterday. No problems but I asked the tester to be particularly vigilant and if there was anything at all wrong could he let me know . He came and got me before the car came off the ramp and pointed out that there was a small amount of oil around the rear transfer box . I think the part that was the wettest is called an actuator ,its at the back of the transfer box pointing towards the rear . There an overflow type pipe directly above it but that didnt look wet.

The car has 16 days warranty left and is booked in for wednesday.Has anyone got any insight to this . Is it a common thing . Theres only a tiny amount of oil just enough to get it dirty. Thanks.

P.S. its only done 29,500 miles. The actuator is no. 12

Weasel will become famous soon enough
Under warranty they can only fix small leaks like that if you directly complaint about it, so maybe just give a call to the dealer and say you looked under there and saw a fluid leak at the transfer case and would like to schedule it for an appointment since the warranty is about to expire... can't hurt.
