Garaging X5 for 3 months - disconnect battery ?

Disconnect it and leave the tailgate open so you can hook it up when u get back. I would leave the tailgate open regardless. You can lock the latch on the locking mechanism and it will turn off the lights.

I don't think you need to worry too much about the lights if the battery is disconnected
