Rain Through Vent

I did some motorway speed driving in heavy rain and high winds yesterday. Once or twice I thought I felt micro drops of water land on the back of my hand while it was on the steering wheel. Think it was coming through the centre dash vent. To be honest it felt like a little something cold land on my hand .... cannot be sure if there actually was water getting through.

Plus there seems to be quiet a bit of wind noise coming in through the centre vent.

Any ideas what might be the cause ?
