Proud New Owner of an X5 4.4i

Hello everyone! I just purchased a 2006 X5 4.4i! I have been active on other BMW boards that have coincided with the car that I owned at the time. Now it is time to become active on this board.

I have a few questions to start off with.
1. What is the 0-60 time of my new ride?
2. Where can I find the options that were available on the car?
3. Where can I find what options were included in the different option packages, like the premium, sport, etc?
4. How do I know what option packages my car has? Does it have the premium package, sport, etc?

I've included a picture of the new beauty.

My past BMW's have included a 1998 323i convertible, a 2000 M5, and I currently own a 1986 325e.

Thanks to all in advance!
Dan.

dan, wlcome and congrats. you can find a lot of info you asked for by clicking the "how to's" button at the top of this page. i believe there is a link to reference you VIN which shows all options. just by the photo, you do not have a sport package because of the chrome window trim. good luck and enjoy.

Welcome and congratulations.
I'm sure the info is here somewhere but this is what I cut and pasted from CNET (first result when googling "2006 BMW X5 premium package":
The Premium Package ($2,500) adds a huge power moonroof, autodimming mirrors, and a power-adjustable rear seat back, as well as the BMW Assist system, which includes Bluetooth integration, roadside assistance, vehicle service notifications, and emergency calling services.

A few simple indicators of other packages.
Cold weather=Headlight washers
Rear climate=Rear window shades
Sport (as mentioned)=Shadowline window trim (as opposed to chrome)

From the responses, it looks like I have the premium package and the cold weather package.

Hey, welcome. When I got mine I just called the dealership where I bought it from and gave my VIN and requested if they could send me the info regarding my X. See if they could do that. Goodluck

Unfortunately, (or fortunately) I purchased my X5 at a Mazda dealership. They had no idea what they had, and no idea what they were getting in my M5 trade in.

Dan- welcome.

The easiest way to find out what options your new car has is to take about 10 more pictures (closer this time) and post them on here. I am 100% sure this group could list all of the options in under 1 minute.

Don't forget interior pictures. Those help the most!
