Check Side Lights

Hey guys.

Haven't found a solution reading through older threads.

Have an E53 4.4 2005.

Getting a "check side lights" message. Both side lights are out, and the R angel eyes are out.

I've read that the side lights are fiberoptically sourced from the angel eyes. So fixing the AE might resolve that. However, I have 2 AE on each side (4 total). Are they both from one bulb, or 2 separate bulbs?

Can anyone offer a troubleshooting sequence for me?

Check your turn signal connector cable... As for the AE ....One bulb in each headlight power two rings.
