Brembo rotors= RUST

Came out this morning after a rainy/ misty night. Rotors have been on for a week...what a PITA now. Figured Brembo was quality stuff, guess not.

Oh man. it sucks because any rotor that isnt properly treated or painted rust like this.

You could buy caliper paint and paint all the hubs. I would go with black...

So pissed.. Thought I was done and she pulls me back in with more work. These were on sale and I saved about $150 over the cost of OEM ones. I would have gladly paid that extra for what its worth now. Live and learn! Is painting the hubs easy enough? Seems so, but I hate taking these wheels off, so heavy..

I've never actually painted them, but i think it is really easy. do a quick search about caliper paint, and you'll see some of the options avail.

My OEM ones have started to rust also (only after 8 months), not this bad. but damn, the weather in ithaca is miserable

It basically occured over night too. Thinking of black or an alloy silver to match the rims.

I have the standard replacements, no cross-drilled or slotted. I suppose those are a better quality. Anyone else with Brembo can chime in?

Should I paint the calipers as well while i'm at it? Perhaps paint those red.
