Wow, I didn't know there were so many people that don't like the
"Aero Kit"...........One of the main reasons I bought my X5 was because

Love the graphite rims, but only that. No facelift, its hard to sell it later...
Just my opinion, sorry.

Yes, I considered that... I have come to the conclusion that the best option is to keep it as close to original as possible. I'm even thinking of changing my headlights and taillights back to OEM.

Unlike a radical change that will cost thousands and will never offer an ROI, I have decided to accomplish simple things that can easily be reversed and will not upset the value of the vehicle.

Today, I put a black kidney grille in place of the titanium grille and it totally changed the attitude. It gave the X a more menacing look. This was a simple two-minute (reversible) changeover.... for only $50! I love it. The next item will be that elusive underride protection (If I can ever get my stinkin' hands on one! ). It bolts on and can also be removed.

Once that is done, I will take a step back and decide on whether or not to go with the graphite rims...

BTW....I saw a (brand new) black M3 the other day that had the OEM graphite rims and it looked pretty sweet.
