wont start when engine warm.....fine on cold start.....2002 diesel....help..!

Any ideas guys......
Fine on cold start but when warm won't start and the battery dies after turning starter over a few times.....(is the battery normal or should it last longer....? A recent diagnostic came up fine on the battery)
On the computer it came up fuel rail fault......
I am considering a fuel rail sensor and after checking injectors numbers 2 and 4 are letting a bit of fuel out when cranked....maybe these two injectors need doing......?
Anyone had the same problem and any ideas......
Rsvp a very frustrated and confused new member
Regards Jason.

First thing you should do is check to see why those 2 injectors are leaking.
Have you tried tightening them? They maybe be loose or need new o-rings!A loose injector may also let air into the system and you car wont start.
The fuel rail pressure sensor is a common issue with these engines and the first thing to swap ,but you should check the injectors first.

Thanks a lot for the swift reply...I will try the rail sensor by unplugging it hot and trying it then have a look at the injectors....
