Mindful, question...

Once you remove the yellow pieces, can you see clearly into the side of the light assembly? Can it be textured in any way and yet keep it clear? One of us has a lense assembly that looks like it's tinted blue. Looks pretty goo in the signature.

Just did my AE's on my 01. It didn't have an amber connected to clear corners, it was all one piece(amber) so I removed the whole thing. When you are delensing it, just take your time. The high beam lens shoule come out of it's opening in the front. For the low beam you will have to remove the corner reflector and take it out of the side.

Yeah, they're all one piece, you just have to dremel it off.

Question While on the subject...

Does anyone have any experience with removing the amber from a 2004+ X5?? Any pictures? I wonder what it'll look like!!! Is there any place where one may buy the euroclear piece to replce the amber without buying the whole assembly?? Sorry to thread jack, just thought it may be related!!!

No, there was no clear at all. It was completely amber. No two pieces to dremel apart!
