Satnav display for an X5 2003 model

Hi,
Can anyone offer advice?
I have an X5 2003 with the satnav display losing some of its graphite on the display. I have contacted a BMW dealer in New South Wales Australia who has quoted $5750 for the unit!
I have done some research on the net and have come across a supplier from china that can provide a similar unit that would fit for about USD425. A much cheaper and upgraded option. I have attached the doc for your review.

425 is not a bad price i guess, the bugs i think were promised to be fixed with soft updates. but how much will it cost to replace the LCD alone????

I installed a unit about a year ago and never looked back. It is very good value for money for the price and the extra features that comes with it. I particularly like the NAVSAT using iGO - I have both NZ and Aust maps. Need a bit of mucking around (cuttings) to get it to fit. PM me if you need help. Cheers.
