No. The sellers location on eBay was Lithuania. Obviously a nice immigrant was stealing them and sending them to their mates in Lithuania to sell them back to the mugs they stole them from in the first place. And what are you going to be able to do about it from Ireland ?

4 neighbours with X5's all had their mirrors stolen the same night, and they all appeared on eBay for sale at the same time. These things are €2,500 a pair from the dealer.

Arseholes. Did you, or any of the others not report them to ebay?

There's always partsgateway-they cover loads of breakers. But if one insists on buying new, then obviously thats ones' choice..

I tried many breakers in Ireland, none had the required mirrors. So the deal was €1,500 for 2 Brand X mirrors from the motor factors or €2,500 from the dealer. At those prices I was putting them through the insurance anyway .... yeah my premium goes up but not by €1,500. And whether your claim is for €1 or €1,000 it has the same effect on your premium so to hell with that, I'll have the genuine parts.
