Sorry for being slow to update, I had to replace the water softener today and I'm leaving for a couple of days at MIT tomorrow. Plumbing projects are never fun...
Anyway, the dealership had the shop foreman ride with me, he felt the vibration (front end only, no seat/console rumble). They took the second set of wheels, my 18 inch winter ones I bought, and road force balanced them. Two were way out (probably bent, then didn't say). One was the LF, so they moved it to the rear. Essentially, it seems to have fixed the problem! Best part was they did it for no charge (this is why you ALWAYS give your service advisor 10's on his rating sheet people!). I am just stunned that both sets of wheels had an issue that caused a similar vibration... Too bad I can't rotate the 19's F to R. Guess I'll have to look at them a bit closer (though I think it is the Michelins as the wheels looked round when they were on the balancer...tires not so much). Thanks for the suggestions. Hopefully nothing else comes up between now and my drive to DC...

Weasel sorry mate, it happens more when going uphill but it is the kind of vibration that lasts 1 second at a time but its pretty consistent, especailly after driving around for a long time it seems to get worse so guessing its rubber related!

Could it be coming from the driveline? Does it almost feel like a half miss in the engine or like the trans has an intermittent problem? If so and you suspect it could be from the transmission do this for a check. Get it to the point of doing it consistent and be on a stretch of road that brings it up etc. When it is doing it kick the shifter over to sport mode so it will downshift a gear, but maintain the same vehicle speed. This changes the speed in which the trans activated the lockup clutch in the TC, so if it is that you shouldn't feel it anymore at that speed.

I can't place this in my head enough to have any more/better ideas... with stuff like this there is no substitute for actually driving it and feeling the issue to make physical diagnosis...

Ok,my indie found the problem,it was warped rotors...high speed breaking(60-65) is smooth now.
