V1 Hardwire

how do you remove the sunroof switch and overhead lights without damaging them? Searching now, but thought someone might be able to quickly help me out...thanks..

There is a little indent on the front of it (near the windshield) which you stick your wedge into. It may take some coercing as it did in my case so go about it from the indent, then move out to both sides before it finally pops off.

Thanks, got it using an old credit card!

PS - funny part is that when I finally got to the green wire, there was already a V1 wire tap on there! Previous owner must have had it set up. Had to laugh, but took the guesswork of of which wire!!!

Better than my case! I had to tap every single wire in the '03 until I finally figured out that it followed '04 model rules.
