Reset Oil Service Interval

Oil Service Interval,

This time I am unable to reset oil service interval after all green indicator lights went off. And now it's only amber indicator light and "Oil Service" display for couple seconds after i start the engine. I reset the oil service interval for every 15,000 miles by pressing and hold odometer button and turn key to 1 or acc. position until RESET SIA 3250 etc. And normally resetting oil service when there are only 2 green indicator lights. Recently I have tried serveral times, the RESET keep flashing but it does not work.

There is only one time my truck at 75K miles, dealer changed water pump and engine oil, they reset oil service interval. I did not know whether they reset oil service interval by BMW scanning tool or reset it via pressing odometer to reset SIA. Now pressing odometer to reset oil service interval and it does not work anymore.

Do you have any ideas regarding this problem?

Dealer may well have locked your service functions 3-18!
Press and release button on the right and if you see "lock on" you will need to unlock these functions.
To Unlock Functions 3 - 18:
Press and release the trip mileage reset button and advance to "Test Nr 19"
Now using your VIN, add the digits of the last 4 numbers to create one number.
Example: 5484 = 5+4+8+4 = 22

Ohhh if they locked 3-18 functions as you stated above, I will call BMW tech guy and ask him sometimes today. That's suck!
"Test Nr 19" you mean pressing and hold right button (check button) and press reset button for trip odometer on the left until we see "Test Nr 19"? I will try to unlock tonight. Thanks powers1

unlocked 3-18 functions but still unable to reset. Add last 5 numbers not 4.
Thanks powers1!

That worked a treat - although I didnt have to key in any added up numbers, I simply hit the odometer rest key, which changed the setting from LOCK: ON to LOCK:00, I then went and rest my lights, bada bing !
