Take the fuse out for a minute, then re-insert. Worked on mine.

your tcu might have crapped out. When you reset the fuse, it will work with your phone again, but you might get a constant red light if there is no phone. When the car is off it will still drain your battery.

Thanks TriX5 and recklessspyder the leaving the fuse out for a few mins worked a treat and theres no red light(so far) thanks for your help and if you ever find yourself in Scotland you will def be made welcome,
